The day we visited the Gallery In New York and saw Roberto Dutesco's exhibition of "The Wild Horses of Sable Island" was one of the best days of the summer. Heck, of the year. I have been obsessed with the photographs, the horses, their beauty, the story, the place and the pure amazing undeniable genius of his work.
I wrote to the gallery a few weeks ago and asked if I they would be okay if I painted one of the photographs and thankfully,they said fine.
So here it is, I dont know the name of the photo, but it took my breath away. I hope my interpretation does it justice. Ah INSPIRATION! Thank you Roberto!
